PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

09/2009 – present: Junior Event Manager in MAKAO, Lodz, POLAND;

I am responsible for creating unique events for different groups of customers. Furthermore, I coordinate the internationalisation process of the company and I am responsible for expanding our business to French and English speaking countries.

03/2008 – 06/2008: Product Manager, Internship in Europe Unlimited SA, Brussels, BELGIUM;

I was working closely with IT and biotechnology sector, being in charge of an independent project. I arranged cooperation and networking between venture capitals and start-up companies in collaboration with Europe Unlimited strategic partners is Rome, Italy. In the introductory part of the internship I also assisted in several departments including business development and account management.

07/2006 – 09/2006: Housekeeping Supervisor at Courtyard by Marriott Norwich, Norwich, USA;

I was a team leader responsible for coordinating everyday work of the housekeeping team. It involved creating timetables, setting goals and executing them as well as evaluating and reporting achievements of the whole team. Importantly, I worked within short deadlines and often under pressure.

06/2005 – 06/2006: PricewaterhouseCoopers Ambassador in Lodz, POLAND;

The position involved strategic planning of recruitment campaign on the national level and planning and implementing independent activities locally. I organised successful seminars and happenings and raised company’s visibility by radio broadcasts, articles, of my authorship, in local newspapers and student portals and informative presentations at universities.

2003 – 2009: Seasonal and part-time employment in POLAND, FRANCE, CANADA and MALTA;

I worked on various positions with different duties and responsibilities. It involved cooperation in international environment and ability to adapt quickly to new conditions.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY:

10/2005 –  02/2007: President of a Students' Organisation of International Relations TIAL;
Awarded by European Commission Vice-President for outstanding performance;

My career in TIAL ranged from a member to becoming a president within 2 years only. Commencing with a vivid administrative reorganisation I doubled the number of TIAL’s active members. It enabled me to complete several national projects, one of which was honourably awarded by European Commission’s Vice-President. Furthermore, I created a year-lasting seminar focused on applying for European Funds, highly appreciated not only by its participants but also by university authorities.

10/2004 – 06/2006: International Students’ Platform AIESEC, Local Committee Lodz;

While working for AIESEC, I participated in numerous personal development seminars and conferences. My core activity focused of PR, communication and marketing when being in charge of several successful local projects. I also administrated committee’s meetings and conferences. Furthermore, I researched companies interested in cooperation with AIESEC in a student exchange program and created suitable databases in order to enhance local committee’s performance.

EDUCATION:

10/2004 – present: University of Lodz, POLAND;

I completed a master’s program at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the department of International Economics on the specialisation of International Commerce. My thesis is dedicated to enterprise’s internationalisation process. I was awarded with scholarships for very good performance;

01/2009 – 02/2009: Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas, São Paulo, BRAZIL;                           

I accomplished a selection of courses on Globalization, Regionalization and Development Dimensioned by the Information Society. In order to participate in the program I gained a scholarship from the organizer;

02/2007 – 06/2007: University of Rouen, FRANCE;         

I completed one semester at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management within SOCRATES/ ERASMUS program. For that occasion I was awarded with a European Commission grant;

09/1999 – 06/2004: XXVI High School of K.K.Baczynski in Lodz, POLAND;   

I graduated from a class in an European profile with extended program of education of foreign languages (English and French);
